We believe that the Bible is God’s Word and our guide for life. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives.
We believe in the Triune God. There is only one God, but He has revealed Himself eternally in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy.
We believe that in the beginning mankind was created upright and without sin, but they chose to disobey God and walk away from him. Our sin has separated each of us from God and his purpose for our lives, and our only hope for redemption is through Jesus Christ.
We believe that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Our salvation is a free gift from God, and not something that can be worked for or earned. All we have to do is repent of our sin and put our trust in Jesus.
We believe that when a person makes a commitment to follow Jesus, they are to be baptized in water as an outward declaration of an inward decision. Water Baptism is the next step in a persons journey.
We believe that when Jesus rose from the grave and ascended into heaven, He left us the Holy Spirit, the third person in the Trinity. The Holy Spirit is our comforter and empowers us to live for Christ.
We believe that sanctification is the ongoing process of yielding our lives to God’s Word and allowing the Holy Spirit to work in us daily, making us more like Jesus.
We believe that the church is God’s beautiful plan for humanity. It’s a haven of safety and a beacon of hope, in a world that’s in need of Jesus. The Church is more than a building or a gathering of people. The Church is a body, a living being, of which Christ is the head. Each of us are on a different journey and writing our own a unique story, but Jesus Christ is the common thread that brings us all together. Each person plays a valuable role as a member of the church and we are better together!
