Trunk or Treat at Ridgeway
Free trick-or-treating for kids on Madison’s east side. Come in costume, go car to car for candy and games, then head inside for bounce houses and fall treats.
What to expect
Come any time between 10am and 1pm.
Go trunk to trunk
Volunteers decorate their cars and line them up outside. Most trunks have a theme or a quick game, and every one has candy.
Head inside
The gym is open too, with bounce houses, fall treats and a warm place to take a break.
Dress up
Most kids come in costume, and a lot of our volunteers do too. It’s not required.
Bring a bag
There’s no cost and no sign-up. Bring a bucket or bag for the candy if you have one.

Questions parents ask
Something else? Email or call the church office and we’ll help.
Who is it for?
Families with kids. Most trick-or-treaters are elementary age and younger, but there’s no age limit, and older siblings are welcome too.
Does it cost anything?
No. It’s free, and you don’t need to sign up or get a ticket.
Do I need to go to Ridgeway?
No. Trunk or Treat is open to any family, whether or not you’ve been to Ridgeway before.
Is it inside or outside?
Both. The trunks are outside in the parking lot, and the bounce houses and fall treats are inside in the church gym. Dress for the weather.
Where do I park?
Our parking lot is reserved for the trunks that day, so plan to park on the nearby streets.
Coming by bus? Metro Rapid Route A stops at Wright – Fair Oaks, about a block from the church.
Do kids have to wear a costume?
No, but most do. A lot of our volunteers dress up too.
There’s something for kids every week
